1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using thedoctor.me, book.thedoctor.me, or any of our related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use our Services.

You must be at least 18 years old to use this website, or have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

2. Who Provides What

The Doctor Health Center Inc. ("we," "us") operates this website and provides administrative, technology, scheduling, billing support, and management services. We are a Management Services Organization (MSO).

Flores & Flores, A Professional Corporation, doing business as The Doctor Medical Group, is an independent California professional corporation that provides all medical care, diagnoses, treatments, and clinical services. The physicians, nurse practitioners, and clinical staff who treat you are licensed healthcare providers employed by or contracted with The Doctor Medical Group.

The Doctor Health Center Inc. does not practice medicine. No doctor-patient relationship is formed between you and The Doctor Health Center Inc.. Your medical relationship is exclusively with The Doctor Medical Group and its providers.

3. Not Medical Advice

The content on this website — including text, graphics, videos, and other materials — is for general informational purposes only. It is not intended as a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

• Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider with any questions about a medical condition
• Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read on this website
• If you think you may have a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room immediately

4. Online Booking

Our booking platform (book.thedoctor.me) allows you to request appointments with The Doctor Medical Group providers. By using the booking system:

• Booking is a request, not a guarantee. We'll do our best to accommodate your preferred time, but appointments are subject to provider availability.
• Provide accurate information. You're responsible for providing accurate personal, insurance, and health information during booking.
• Cancellation policy. Please cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your appointment. Repeated no-shows may result in a fee or scheduling restrictions.
• Insurance verification is not a guarantee of coverage. We verify insurance eligibility as a courtesy, but your coverage and financial responsibility depend on your specific plan.

5. Telehealth Services

The Doctor Medical Group may offer telehealth (video, phone, or messaging-based) visits. By using telehealth services, you acknowledge:

• Telehealth is not the same as an in-person visit and has limitations
• Your provider may determine that your condition requires an in-person visit
• Technical difficulties may occur; the provider is not responsible for interruptions caused by technology failures
• You have the right to withdraw consent for telehealth at any time and request an in-person visit instead
• You consent to the use of secure video and communication technology for your care
• You are responsible for ensuring you are in a private setting during telehealth visits

Telehealth services are provided in compliance with California Business & Professions Code Section 2290.5 and applicable regulations. Verbal or written consent is obtained and documented at the time of your telehealth visit.

6. User Accounts

If you create an account on our platform:

• You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
• You're responsible for all activity under your account
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use our Services for any unlawful purpose
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services or servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Services
• Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the Services
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Harass, threaten, or abuse our staff or other users

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, design, logos, graphics, videos, and software — is owned by The Doctor Health Center Inc. or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may view, download, and print content for personal, non-commercial use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

"The Doctor," the The Doctor logo, and related marks are trademarks of The Doctor Health Center Inc.. Use of our trademarks without permission is prohibited.

9. Payment & Insurance

• You are ultimately responsible for payment of services rendered by The Doctor Medical Group
• We accept most PPO insurance plans, Medicare, and Medi-Cal
• Co-pays, deductibles, and coinsurance are your responsibility and may be collected at the time of service
• Self-pay rates and payment plans are available
• Balances not covered by insurance are your responsibility

10. Limitation of Liability

For website and administrative services: The Doctor Health Center Inc. provides the website and administrative services "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Doctor Health Center Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the website or services.

For medical services: Medical services are provided exclusively by Flores & Flores, A Professional Corporation (d/b/a The Doctor Medical Group). Any claims related to medical care, diagnosis, treatment, or clinical outcomes should be directed to The Doctor Medical Group.The Doctor Health Center Inc. does not provide medical care and is not liable for any medical malpractice, clinical decisions, or treatment outcomes.

Total liability cap: In no event shall The Doctor Health Center Inc.'s total liability to you exceed the greater of $100 or the amount you paid to The Doctor Health Center Inc. (not The Doctor Medical Group) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless The Doctor Health Center Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, or your violation of any law or the rights of a third party.

12. Dispute Resolution

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Informal Resolution First: Before filing any formal legal action, you agree to contact us at help@thedoctor.me to attempt to resolve the dispute informally. We'll try to work it out within 60 days.

Venue: Any legal action arising from these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.

13. Modifications

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll update the effective date and post a notice on our website. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Notice of Privacy Practices, constitute the entire agreement between you and The Doctor Health Center Inc. regarding your use of the Services.
