Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No contracts. Cancel through your member portal or email us. See our refund policy for details on partial-month and annual prepay refunds.
Is BetterCare insurance?
No. BetterCare is a healthcare membership, not insurance. It covers your visits and a defined set of services for one flat monthly fee. We still recommend you have catastrophic insurance for emergencies and hospitalizations.
Can I use HSA/FSA?
Yes. BetterCare memberships are HSA/FSA eligible as of 2026 under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. Use your pre-tax dollars.
What if I need a specialist?
We can refer you. You pay for specialist visits separately (out-of-network rates apply). For psychiatry, you can upgrade to BetterCare Complete to get unlimited psych included.
What about labs and imaging?
Annual labs are included in Plus and Complete. Additional labs are at member rates (often 50-80% off retail). Imaging is at member-negotiated rates with our preferred imaging partners.
Where are appointments?
West Hollywood, Downtown LA, or telehealth across California. You can mix and match.
What's the tax angle?
